If time permits, visit the Pakhui (Pakke) Wildlife Sanctuary—home to rich flora, fauna, and vibrant birdlife. Continue to the Sessa Orchid Sanctuary, known for its rare and exotic orchid species. En route, visit the popular Tippi Orchid Centre, home to 500+ rare and vibrant orchid species, followed by a refreshing stop at the picturesque Sessa Waterfall. On reaching Dirang, explore the historic Dirang Dzong, visit the peaceful Kalachakra Gompa, and enjoy the therapeutic Hot Water Spring located by the riverside. Spend your evening strolling along the charming Kameng River before resting for the night in Dirang.

Day 3Travel from Dirang to Tawang

Begin with a visit to the historic Bum La Pass at 15,200 ft, known for its strategic significance and breathtaking high-altitude views. Continue to the serene P.T. Tso Lake (Pankang Teng Tso), a pristine glacial lake surrounded by snow-capped mountains. Explore the famous Sangestar Lake, also known as Madhuri Lake, popular for its appearance in the Bollywood film Koyla. If accessible, visit Nagula Lake and the picturesque Heart Lake, both offering incredible Himalayan scenery. Depending on conditions, proceed to Chumi Gyatse Falls and the sacred Teesri Udasi Gurudwara. Return to Tawang by evening. Overnight stay in Tawang.
